Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas
1/2 cup of chilled butter or margarine cut in 8 pieces
1 1/2 cups of flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup of milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of lemon juice or vinegar
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of walnuts or pecans (optional)

Directions:

Peel and mash bananas and add to a large mixing bowl.
Add butter and mix well.

Combine all remaining ingredients and mix until blended.

Pour into a 9 x5 – inch greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees
in a preheated oven for 55 – 60 minutes.
