My son and I enjoyed the sushi featured in the photo at the Marriott Marquis<\/em> in New York City at Time Square<\/em>…yum<\/p>\n

I don’t do raw… but here’s one of my favorite rolls!<\/p>\n

California Roll<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong>
\n8\u00a0seaweed sheets
\n1 cup sushi rice
\n2 tablespoons sesame seeds
\n\u00bd cup cooked\u00a0crab meat, finely chopped
\n3 tablespoons mayonnaise
\n1 avocado, peeled, thinly sliced lengthwise
\n\u00bd cucumber, peeled, cut into long, thin strips<\/p>\n

Directions:
\n<\/strong>Lay the seaweed\u00a0sheets out on a flat rolling surface. Spread the rice evenly over the sheets or seaweed, and sprinkle the sesame seeds over the rice.<\/p>\n

  1. Mix the crabmeat and mayonnaise in a small bowl until well combined.<\/li>\n
  2. Spread the mixture evenly down the center of each roll, and top with avocado and cucumber slices.<\/li>\n
  3. Roll the sushi into a log. Slice into \u00be-inch pieces and serve immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
