Recently, I spoke with actor Michael Beach, best known for his roles as a cheating husband in \u201cWaiting to Exhale,\u201d opposite, Angela Basset, and then with Vanessa Williams in \u201cSoul Food\u201d and in \u201cER\u201d with Gloria Ruben.\u00a0 Other favorites include \u201cFirst Sunday,\u201d with Ice Cube and Katt Williams.\u00a0 Beach earned an NAACP Image Award for his role as Monte ‘Doc’ Parker on NBC\u2019s Third Watch.<\/p>\n
Although Beach\u2019s Juilliard training prepared him for his varied roles throughout his career, including portraying T.O. Cross in \u201cSons of Anarchy,\u201d on FX. Art is imitating life to the degree that Beach is an avid biker and he feels comfortable living out his passion on film.<\/p>\n
It had been\u00a015 years or more since I last spoke with Mike. We worked on a few projects together over the years. His life has changed during that time. He divorced and remarried and along with his four children from his previous marriage, \u00a0he is expecting a son with his current wife, Elisha Wilson Beach.<\/p>\n
Beach and his wife reside in the affluent Toluca Lake community in the Southeastern San Fernando Valley near Burbank, California. Residents of the area have included Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra.<\/p>\n
He\u00a0and his wife\u00a0decorate together. They\u2019ve incorporated different wood tones into their home and enjoy the warmth of the wood with cool tones of cream and maroon. Hand crafted wood molding, shutters and hardwood floors fill their home.<\/p>\n
When Mike wants to chill, he spends most of his time in his master suite. There you\u2019ll find a comfy couch, a couple of chairs, and a large wall-mounted TV which swivels 360 degrees.\u00a0 Top that with a fireplace, and his master suite is made for relaxing.<\/p>\n
