{"id":2213,"date":"2012-03-28T11:35:50","date_gmt":"2012-03-28T17:35:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mi-ling.com\/?p=2213"},"modified":"2012-04-12T20:00:40","modified_gmt":"2012-04-13T02:00:40","slug":"shamrock-cookies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mi-ling.com\/home\/shamrock-cookies\/","title":{"rendered":"Shamrock Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Submitted by Chef Karl Greene<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 c. sifted all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 tsp. baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. soda<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n2\/3 c. butter<br \/>\n1 1\/4 c. sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 c. light molasses<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n1 tbsp. grated lemon peel<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and mace. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add molasses. Add eggs and lemon peel, beat well then beat in flour gradually. Divide dough into 2 parts; wrap each piece in plastic wrap \u00a0and chill for 4 hours or overnight.<\/p>\n<p>On a floured board, roll out dough, one piece at a time to 1\/8 inch thickness.
