Real-Life Design Solutions,\u201d there is hope.<\/p>\n<p>Wiener was inspired by her husband, &#8220;the slob,\u201d as well as World Wrestling Entertainment, &#8220;in that it is carefully thought out to survive whatever life throws at it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Along with writing her book she designed a line of furniture with Crypton fabric that is virtually indestructible, yet remains affordable.<\/p>\n<p>During a conversation, she listed a few tips to get you started.<\/p>\n<p>Her tips:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Think through what&#8217;s more important: How it looks or how it works for you.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Use magazines for inspiration but be realistic about your lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Trap dirt at the foyer with a small and colorful area rug.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Add a small bench to your foyer so you&#8217;ll have a place to put your keys or groceries.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A beautiful hall tree will keep clutter off the floor.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 To stay organized, use hooks.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few tips from her book:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Decorate the way you really like.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Make color your friend.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Choose flooring carefully.
